What you'll do
Comfortable working from technical documentation and requirements specifications.
• Assist in developing embedded software in C for automotive applications on but not limited to 32-bit microcontrollers such as NXP142 with opportunities for 8-bit and 16-bit architectures in the future
• Support testing activities including unit testing, static analysis
• Read and interpret embedded system hardware level schematics in conjunction with technical documentation
• Using configuration tools such as Bitbucket or GitHub for version control.
• Use Vector CANalyzer software to create test environments to be used for integration testing. Including basic CAPL scripting, creation of test panels and usage of CANdb (CAN databases).
• Executing software validation plans and all supporting documentation and reports
• Methodical documentation and reporting of testing results
• Use tools such as digital multi-meters (DMM), oscilloscopes, logic analysers and power supplies to debug embedded systems and root cause analysis reports

What we are looking for
Required skills and experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
• Familiarity with the C programming language for embedded systems.
• Understanding of microcontroller architectures (8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit).
• Basic experience working with CAN communication and Vector CANalyzer.
• Familiar with reading hardware schematics and interpreting documentation.
• Exposure to configuration management tools like Bitbucket or GitHub.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative engineering environment.
Preferred qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience (graduates welcome to apply).
• Exposure to CAPL scripting or HIL simulation is a plus
