What you'll do
- Ensure 24/7 availability, reliability, and stability of the production environment
- Maintain and support network and server infrastructure, as well as Just-in-Time Sequencing and Manufacturing systems; analyze performance and growth trends
- Install, update, and perform maintenance and health checks, of OS and applications
- Assist with root cause analysis and contingency executio
- Implement and manage data backup and recovery
- Coordinate IT equipment procurement and maintenance with internal teams and vendors
- Maintain accurate documentation and process records
- Support training and development of end-users and team members
- Performing risk analysis, identifying failure modes, and ensuring contingencies are in place
- Perform routine validation of high availability, redundancies, detection
- Manage projects to meet deadlines and deliverables
- Ensure compliance with tech and regulatory standards

What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field and 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of: Linux, Windows, VMware. iSeries (AS-400), Veeam Backup, SQL/DB2, Check MK/Grafana, MCSE, A+, Network+
- Ability to read, write emails, describe problems in English as well as communicate effectively with L2 and L3 support
- Team & Client-oriented. Drive problems to resolution
- Embraces the “continuous improvement” philosophy
