What you'll do
- Lead and mentor a small, embedded software team based in Noida.
- Develop embedded software in C for automotive applications across 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontroller platforms.
- Interpret and work from technical documents such as: Statement of Requirements (SOR), Software Detail Designs (SDD), Software Validation Plans (SVP).
- Support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) bench-level simulation and debugging.
- Read and interpret embedded hardware schematics.
- Review and manage assigned tasks; provide regular status reports to the Engineering Manager.
- Apply quality assurance practices including unit testing, static analysis, and code inspections.
- Use configuration management tools (e.g., Bitbucket, GitHub) for source control and collaboration.
- Use Vector CANalyzer for CAN bus analysis, including CAPL scripting, CANDb file use, and basic test panel creation.
- Work within the automotive development lifecycle, including familiarity with APQP processes.

What we are looking for
Required skills and experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
- Strong skills in embedded C programming across multiple architectures (8bit, 16bit and 32bit), .
- Experience working with bench-level HIL simulations.
- Understanding of CAN communication protocols and data structures.
- Experience reading and interpreting electronic hardware schematics.
- Practical experience using configuration management tools such as Bitbucket or GitHub.
- Familiarity with automotive development practices such as APQP and quality assurance workflows.
- Experience using Vector CANalyzer, CAPL scripting to setup test environments
- Read and understand technical documentation such as Statement of Requirements (SOR), Software Detail Designs (SDD) and Software Validation Plans (SVP)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a small team and track/report progress effectively.
- Participate in periodic task tracking and reporting with the local and Australian engineering teams
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring small engineering teams.
